Lepanto
Our first feature film (in development) is the true story of the Battle of Lepanto, one of the greatest and most significant naval battles in history. This battle is widely recognized among historical scholars as having saved Western Civilization as we know it. The naval and military forces of the Ottoman Empire were greatly superior in number and resources as well as tactics and strategy. Nonetheless, the Allied forces led by Don Juan, including the great novelist Cervantes, (author of Don Quixote) remarkably were able to prevail. In fact Cervantes, who was wounded in the battle and came to be known as the Maimed One of Lepanto, famously remarked that “…This was the greatest day’s work in centuries…”!
